Over 200 food packages catered with Zorg van de Zaak Foundation Christmas project
In december, Zorg van de Zaak Foundation has set up a Christmas project in collaboration with the Indian Tea Association. This project consisted of catering food packages for pregnant women and their children. These women work on the tea plantations in India. Especially during the Covid pandemic, they are a vulnerable group. The food packages help the women receive healthy and high quality nourishment. This makes the women less physically vulnerable.
With this Christmas project, a total of 410 euros was raised! As a result, over 200 food packages were catered to the pregnant women working on the plantations. Over 200 families were provided with a high quality food package. As a result, apart from the women themselves, their babies were also aided in making a good, healthy start.
We would like to sincerely thank all the Zorg van de Zaak Network collaborators who have contributed to our Christmas project! Thanks to your support, we have been able to offer over 200 women and their families food packages!
